Description: At 160 Fifth Avenue, we were the engineers for a complete gut renovation. An 1890s building in the Ladies’ Mile Historic District, the 100,000-square-foot, nine-story structure has been transformed into a Class-A office space with additional retail frontage. The new lay-out includes: a relocated building entrance with added retail frontage on Fifth Avenue, new lobby, new elevators, and added multi-level retail space on the basement and second floors. The building also underwent an extensive replacement of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
